Neighbor Day is returning to View Arts Center on June 6th to kick off summer in Old Forge! Join View and other local organizations from 12 PM to 3 PM for an afternoon full of community, creativity, and fun for all ages.
Enjoy a variety of activities throughout the day, including:
- Live Music – Sit back and relax with free performances from local artists:
Penny Bianco (12–1 PM), Jim & Gwen Tracy (1–2 PM), and Cincinnati Creek (2–3 PM) - Raku Firing – Purchase a pot, glaze it using one of View’s raku glazes, and watch it be fired in real time. Register here.
- Free Gallery Entry – Featuring Masters of Design, The Magic of Color, Art by Design, and works by Gustave Stickley.
- ANEAW Poster Signing – Meet 2026 artist Bob Ripley and purchase a signed commemorative poster.
- Food & Drink – Cash bar available, with hot dogs, hamburgers, and sausage and peppers for purchase.
- Local Organizations’ Booths – LivingADK, Old Forge Library, ADK Mountain Martial Arts, Kinderwood, Adirondack Experience, Adirondack Watershed Institute, and the Old Forge Fire Department
