Welcome to the 2020 Take Home Today: Tree Skirts & Table Runners. This exhibition features handmade tree skirts and table runners, here how it works:

PRICE FOR TREE SKIRTS: Each work is $150
PICK UP: Artwork purchased is taken home today! Simply tell the front office which you are interested in and they will assist you.

For Quilters
This year quilters are invited to make tree skirts and/or table runners for an exhibition at View. Let your imagination soar, and use your skills (design, fabric and color choices) to create tree skirts and/or table runners to delight and interest the viewer.
Important Dates
- Tree Skirts and Table Runners must be received by View no later than September 4, 2020 for the first installation.
- Pieces may be dropped off until December, 18, 2020
- Exhibition opens to the public: September 12, 2020
- Exhibition closes: February 13, 2021
- Pick-up of unsold work begins: February 15, 2021
Eligibility
- Table Runners should not exceed 18” in width and 72“ in length.
- Table Runners require a sleeve to be added on one short side for hanging during the exhibition.
Terms of Entry
- All submitted works may be photographed and used for publicity purposes.
- Artwork unclaimed by May 5, 2021 will become the property of View, unless other arrangements are made for pick up.
- Work must remain on display for the duration of the exhibition.
- All table runners will be priced at $100. A commission of $50 will be retained by View for works sold.
- All tree skirts will be priced at $150. A commission of $75 will be retained by View for works sold.
Delivery
- Work can be dropped off at View’s front desk during gallery hours.
- View is unable to store packing materials. All materials used in the delivery of artwork must be removed from the premises once the work has been delivered.
Shipping
- View is also able to receive shipped work.
- Artists must notify View of their shipped work via email, hcaufield@viewarts.org
- All shipped works must arrive no later than: August 31, 2020.
- You must include a prepaid shipping label for the return of the work.
Pickup
- Pick-up of unsold work begins: February 15, 2021
