Abraham Ferraro is an interdisciplinary artist working primarily in sculpture, installation and performance. His work has been featured in numerous international and national exhibitions, and has received numerous awards. On display at View is a series of new work that explores the use of laser cut postage stickers to create imagery. Ferraro takes a very Warholian approach to this body of work as the imagery remains constant (The Old Albany Post Office and an image of Mierle Ladderman Ukeles), while colors and patterns are interchanged from piece to piece.
Ferraro holds a BFA from SUNY Fredonia and an MA and MFA from SUNY Albany. He currently resides in Albany, New York where he is the sculpture technician at the College of Saint Rose.
