The work of Barbara Page is an interplay of art and science that employs elements of cartography, paleontology, geology, and entomology. In her paintings and sculptural objects she transports the viewer through the vertically dissecting the landscape as she digs through layer upon layer of rock, mineral, and sediment.
Page has shown her work throughout the country and is represented by the Oxford Gallery in Rochester. NY. Her work is also included in the Viewing Program of the Drawing Center in New York City.
