The many lakes and waterways of the Adirondacks hide our most prized passions…our boats. They carry us home across the lakes and provide many with their transportation to the mainland in the warmer seasons. Adirondackers have a sense of pride about their boats both old or new. Boats represent many things such as freedom to the young adult who can drive across the lake, fun and good memories of the friends piled in for happy hour. And harmony with nature as we ride close to the water alone and hear the call of the loons. Our boats are like old friends and I have tried to capture the spirit of these unique vessels in my paintings.
