Utilizing bright color and texture as the foundation of her work, Linda Kollar develops her complex mixed media paintings through layer upon layer of intuitive washes until an image begins to appear. Though her subject matter is quite varied—ranging from the natural to the abstract—this body of work is unified through its approach and vivid utilization of color.
