I’m interested in creating work that best represents my unique perspective of the world. It is my desire to cultivate an attitude of open mindedness for myself and hopefully for those who see my work. To look at the world with a fresh eye to shake up perspectives. Paradigm Shift.
Because I live and work in the Adirondacks much of my artwork has been oriented towards nature and wild life. My natural inclination is work that comes from a more personal place, leaning towards fantasy and surrealism, I weave this into most of my work, blending the natural world with that which lies within me.
I primarily work in graphite and oils but have also worked with colored pencils, acrylics, watercolors and pastels. Most recently I have been intrigued by the blending of my drawings with computer graphics.
